Silvaworks handles your personal data with care. This statement explains which data is processed through this website, for what purpose, and what your rights are.
Who is responsible?
Silvaworks, a sole proprietorship of Pedro da Silva, registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 86574426. You can reach me at info@silvaworks.nl.
What data do I process?
- Contact form: your name, email address and message, and, if you provide them, your phone number and organisation.
- Visiting the website: the web server records technical data such as your IP address, the time and the requested page (server logs).
- Website statistics (only with your consent): through Google Analytics, data about your visit such as the pages viewed, your device, browser and approximate location.
- Spam protection: when you submit the contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are human. For this, technical data such as your IP address and browser details are passed on to Cloudflare.
What do I use this data for?
I only use data from the contact form to answer your question and, where relevant, to follow up on it. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in responding to your question, or taking steps prior to entering into a contract. Server logs are needed for security and troubleshooting. With your consent I use Google Analytics to see how the website is used so that I can improve it; the legal basis for this is your consent. To protect the contact form against spam I use Cloudflare Turnstile; the legal basis for this is my legitimate interest in a secure website.
How long do I keep it?
Messages sent through the contact form are not stored on the website but forwarded to me by email. I keep them as long as necessary to handle your question and no longer than two years after our last contact, unless an assignment results from it, in which case the statutory retention periods apply. Server logs are deleted automatically after fourteen days. Data in Google Analytics is deleted after no more than fourteen months.
Sharing with others
I do not sell your data. The website runs on a server of IONOS in Germany. Email is handled by Microsoft 365, the contact form is protected against spam by Cloudflare, and website statistics are handled by Google, only with your consent. Agreements on the processing of personal data are in place with these parties. Google and Cloudflare may process data in the United States; both participate in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Cookies and analytics
With your consent, Google Analytics places cookies to measure how the website is used. Google Analytics is configured so that data is not used for advertising and is not shared with other Google services. Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time via ‘Cookie settings’ at the bottom of every page; your choice is stored in your browser for twelve months. This website does not use advertising cookies, and Cloudflare Turnstile does not use tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from this server, so no data is sent to Google or other parties for that purpose.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data and to object to its processing. To do so, send an email to info@silvaworks.nl. If you are not satisfied with how I handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
